    Decarbonization solutions

    Refer to strategies and technologies aimed at reducing or eliminating carbon dioxide emissions across sectors such as energy, transport, industry, and agriculture. A key approach is transitioning from fossil fuels to renewable energy sources like solar, wind, and hydropower, alongside improving energy efficiency in buildings and manufacturing. Electrification of transport, supported by clean energy, and the adoption of green hydrogen for hard-to-abate industries are also gaining momentum. Nature-based solutions, such as reforestation and sustainable land management, help absorb carbon while enhancing biodiversity. In addition, carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS) technologies offer pathways to manage residual emissions.
